Energy-ef昀椀cient cooling
Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate
culture. We are the only manufacturer to
develop and produce refrigerators in our own
factory in Switzerland. Here, we create highquality, durable, energy-saving products.
Running a fridge or freezer accounts for a
signi昀椀cant proportion of household energy
consumption. We are therefore striving to develop
energy-saving models that will also help the
environment. Due to constant improvements in
energy ef昀椀ciency over recent years, the existing
energy label has reached its limits. So from 1 March
2021, fridges and freezers now have a new label.
The new energy label will make it easier to
identify energy-ef昀椀cient appliances, and the
differences in energy ef昀椀ciency between
various appliances will be clearer. In the new
classi昀椀cation, fridges and freezers must achieve
at least energy ef昀椀ciency rating F. In addition,
it will be possible to operate all types of wine
coolers to achieve energy ef昀椀ciency rating G.

CombiCooler
With the introduction of the new energy
consumption labelling system, our existing
single-door refrigerators, which formerly displayed
the energy ef昀椀ciency rating A+++, will now
mostly achieve a rating of E. Appliances rated
A++ will now have a rating of F. For double-door
appliances, rating A+++ will mainly be replaced
by rating E. In the new classi昀椀cation system,
our CombiCoolers feature energy ef昀椀ciency
rating C, making them our most energy-ef昀椀cient
refrigerators. Their long service life additionally
helps to save on operating costs and resources.
