Sustainable future
We see sustainability as the driving force behind the development of our products, the
services we offer, the way in which we manufacture, and how we contribute to a society
that is 昀椀t for the future.
Products and services for a future-昀椀t society
We assume responsibility for our products
throughout their entire lifespan, from responsible
manufacturing and explaining to consumers
how to use them ef昀椀ciently, through to repairing
and recycling them. We seek to minimise waste
at every turn. Our aim is to create products and
re-use them at the end of their life cycle so that we
consume as few new resources as possible.
Our manufacturing operations have been
entirely carbon-neutral since 2020
How have we achieved this? We obtain an
increasing proportion of our electricity from
renewable sources, we invest in new, more
ef昀椀cient production facilities and buildings, and
our V-Forest reforestation programme offsets all
our remaining emissions. And users of V-ZUG
appliances can also contribute to climate neutrality
in their own homes by offsetting the emissions
generated during their use.

Our sustainability strategy
Our production facilities have been carbonneutral since 2020 due to a perfect mix of careful
planning, new plants, increased ef昀椀ciency and
offsetting measures. We are continuing this
strategy with a range of initiatives such as our
internal CO2 levy, which we are using to 昀椀nance
projects to reduce CO2 emissions.
