Modern induction technology is as diverse as the demands placed on
cooktops. With the new ZoneFlex induction technology, we are closing the
gap between 昀椀xed zones and full-surface cooking.
Standard induction: 昀椀xed cooking zones
With a conventional cooktop, the induction
coil dictates the position of the cooking zones.
The round cooking zones can adapt to the
saucepan's diameter up to their maximum
diameter. The standard induction cooktops
are robust, provide good heat distribution
and are straightforward to operate.
control makes the cooktop easier to use. You can
manually adapt the assignment of inductors at any
time. The optimized heat distribution accelerates
the cooking process compared with a 昀椀xed
cooktop, and food is browned even more evenly.
Flexible zone cooking is possible with our new
CookTop V4000 and CombiCookTop V4000
appliances.
ZoneFlex: a high degree of 昀氀exibility
with a smart bridging function
The new ZoneFlex induction technology gives
you a new sort of 昀氀exibility when cooking. Each
cooking zone is 昀椀tted with four ZoneFlex induction
coils. These automatically recognize the pan size
and position, and connect to form a bridge with
no manual intervention. So the cooking zone can
be used as one large area for a casserole, or for
two saucepans as usual. The pans can be moved
around inside the cooking zone as required without
losing the pre-set power level. This memory
function and the automatic assignment of the
current combination of inductors to the slider
FullFlex: maximum 昀氀exibility in
terms of size and position
Those who want even more 昀氀exibility will go for the
FullFlex induction cooktop. Thanks to the memory
function, you can move them around without losing
their settings. The new FullFlex induction cooktops
are controlled via a full-colour graphic touchscreen
that clearly displays all the information needed.
